About Simon Donegan – Founder of Cosy Living Margaret River

With over 30 years of experience, Simon's journey began as a tin smith, crafting prototype cars for Aston Martin. While he enjoyed working with metal, it was the natural beauty and versatility of wood that ultimately captured his imagination. Eager to explore this newfound passion, Simon transitioned to carpentry, completing an apprenticeship that honed his skills in design and construction.

Simon's background in metalworking perfectly complemented his carpentry, giving him a unique perspective on craftsmanship and design precision. His attention to detail flourished as he built luxury homes across Cornwall, Portugal, and Australia, always striving for innovative ways to improve structures.

For the past 12 years, Simon has called Southwest Australia home, focusing on building and renovating properties in the region. His diverse experience across multiple locations led him to embrace the potential of prefabricated homes—housing solutions that could move and adapt to different environments. This vision sparked the creation of Cosy Living Margaret River, a company dedicated to building high-quality, sustainable prefabricated homes that blend modern design with environmental responsibility.
